The decreased number of sperms is primarily due to high fever just after the puberty age. This disorder is known as mumps. Normally, sperms take 75 days to mature and be fit for fusion. If you have had issues for the last three months, do inform your doctor. Yet another reason for Male Infertility is varicocele, which results due to inflammation of varicose vein over either of the two testicles. This is a very common ailment and has been found to be the reason for infertility in over 15% of American men. Due to varicocele, excess amount of blood flows to the testicles, thus raising their temperature and eventually leading to death of sperms. A small surgical technique is used to correct it. The insertion of balloon in the enlarged vein can also treats you, as it will divert the blood to other vessels. After knowing that one is suffering from this disease, the infertility stress also adds up to the cause. Read more of these articles and also an interesting article on PCOS at PCOS and Infertility
